MY STORY

Welcome! I’m Chelsea and this is a little bit about me...

In 2012, I graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing program at Brandon University and currently hold an active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.

Prior to independent practice, I had the pleasure of working with children, youth, adults and families in a number of diverse settings.   As an eager new grad, I began my journey in acute psychiatry.  This entity gave me knowledge in assessments, diagnostics, medication, community resources, individual/group therapy methods, and a holistic philosophy.  Before landing in private practice, I've tested a lot of waters in correctional mental health, long term care and schools - each one giving me something valuable to carry forward!

I love connecting with people and each interaction in practice leaves me feeling thankful to be part of their healing process.  I am passionate about the clinical learning of psychiatric nursing so I take any chance I get to talk about the brain and body!  They are amazing!

Professional life aside - my husband and I are outnumbered by four beautiful kiddos and two fur babies that resemble small horses. And yes, it's as wild and chaotic as you're imagining!
