Welcome! I’m Chelsea and this is a little bit of a me in a nutshell...
In 2012, I graduated from the Bachelor of Science in Psychiatric Nursing program at Brandon University and currently hold an active registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Manitoba.
Prior to independent practice, I had the pleasure of working with children, youth, adults and families in a number of diverse settings. As an eager new grad, I began my journey in acute psychiatry. This entity gave me knowledge in assessments, diagnostics, medication, community resources, individual/group therapy methods, and a holistic philosophy.
This foundation led my career into correctional mental health, long-term care and most recently, an RPN in the school system. These collaborated experiences have instilled an appreciation for working with every stage and walk of life. I consider my counselling style as empathetic, honest & value a little bit of humor!.
Professional life aside - I am out numbered by three beautiful boys, my other (better) half, and two fur babies that resemble small horses. It's a wild, chaotic house but this is us!
