HOW DO I SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT?

Appointments can be scheduled by phone at (204)512-0032, e-mail at info@mettacounselling.ca, or through my online booking portal http://mettacmh.janeapp.com.  Please note, I'm not available to answer calls or e-mails during client sessions and will make every effort to return your call in a timely manner.

If your matter is an emergency please call Westman Crisis Services at 1-888-379-7699, call your local physician, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

WILL MY HEALTH INSURANCE COVER THERAPY?

I encourage you to confirm with your health insurance company prior to your appointment to ensure they provide coverage for my services. At this time, I am an approved service provider for MPI, Blue Cross (Manitoba, Saskatchewan & Medavie), Victims of Crime and First Nations and Inuit Health Branch. Upon confirmation of payment for your appointment, I will provide you with a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.

Cash, e-transfer, debit or credit card are accepted methods of payment.  My secure, online booking platform can process payments automatically if a credit card is added to your file, if you so choose.  Payment is due following your appointment and a receipt will be provided upon confirmation.

HOW LONG WILL THE PROCESS TAKE?

The first appointment will be an intake assessment where we will review consent forms and discuss your confidentiality. We will discuss mental health history and current stressors, previous counselling experiences, your goals and expectations from our sessions, and answer any questions you may have.

Everyone's mental health path is unique and there is no set time frame on how long a person may choose to stay in counselling.  On average, sessions initially occur on a weekly or bi-weekly basis however we can discuss what works for you and your circumstances.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOURS OF OPERATION?

My hours of operation are 9:00 AM-4:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
